The love story of legendary actress Sharmila Tagore and Indian cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi is like a fairy tale come true. The Prince meets his princess, falls in love and lives happily ever after. The ace actress met the legendary cricketer through a common friend and soon fell in love. The couple tied the knot after dating for a few years. The actress married the legendary cricketer in 1969. Sharmila Tagore, Tiger Pataudi welcomed son, actor Saif Ali Khan, in 1970, daughter Saba in 1976 and actress-author Soha Ali Khan in 1978 Their marriage was based on love, respect and equality and they well complimented each other.

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi passed away after battling a lung infection at the age of 70 in 2011. He left behind his loving wife and children. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up for the first time about losing her husband Tiger Pataudi and how she still feels his presence around her.

She said, “Well that’s where I feel that a lot of people say that time heals. I don’t think Time heals, I think memory is healed and then as Manoj Bajpayee said that you just remember the memories and the void I do not feel because I feel his presence. I know that if I wanted to do something if I wanted to say something, what his answer would have been. So I know the answer.”
She further added, “So you know sometimes you argue but the certain things we never agreed upon and certain things so I know that answer so you know sometimes you argue but the certain things we never agreed upon and certain things and then you look at each other and you know. So I think those are my personal views, that I do not have to avoid and I feel his presence all the time. He is very much a part of my life.“
