Actor Shreyas Talpade made his Bollywood debut with Iqbal and since then, he has come a long way. He has done notable films like Kaun Pravin Tambe, Golmaal and others. Moreover, he has also lent his voice to Allu Arjun for the blockbuster movie Pushpa. Nevertheless, the actor also revealed his share of failures and successes in his journey. During a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Shreyas Talpade spoke about his failures.
Shreyas Talpade on his failures
When asked about how he deals with his failures, he exclusively told us, “It was extremely difficult extremely frustrating. You start doubting yourself you start questioning a lot of things like ‘what wrong have I done, what have I done that it happened to me’. But it’s part and parcel and these have happened in each and everyone’s life.” He added that people should keep working on it and bounce back.
Shreyas continued, “But luckily for me, my family especially, my wife has always had more faith in me than I have had in myself. She is the one who keeps pushing me and telling me that ‘Don’t forget that you are the same guy who came out of nowhere and did a film like Iqbal. Now, when I look back I said, ‘Yeah, I mean we came out of nowhere and we did a Kaun Pravin Tambe?’ and we did a Pushpa also for that matter. You never know how and when things will change, you just have to recognise the opportunities, grab them but at the same time just be patient and be disciplined and keep doing your work.“
Shreyas Talpade talks about movies releasing on OTT and not theatre
Speaking about the same, he said that people should release the movies in the theatres regardless of anything else. He also added that we shouldn’t be scared of releasing the movie in theatres. Recalling an incident, Shreyas remembered, “Iqbal was a bold move on the part of Subash Ghai to sanction that film and commission that film. He said like ‘Okay, let’s do this film with a newcomer as nobody knows him.’ Iqbal was an unknown face. When posters were supposed to get released, producers asked who would come to the theatres to see his face. So don’t reveal his face. They thought if the picture is powerful, people will come to the theatres which happened because the film was powerful so people came.”
