EXCLUSIVE: Sonu Sood reveals Honey Singh was the FIRST choice for Fateh song Hitman; says, “When I showed him the visuals…”

When quizzed about his collaboration with Honey Singh his film, Sonu Sood had an interesting reply. Sood said, “He is my very old friend. I showed him the trailer, and he said it was amazing. Then he asked if there was any item number or something for promotion. I said no, this is a little different. He said, ‘No, no, bro, plan something like that’. That planted a seed in my mind, and my mind started working. I think Honey Singh was the first choice because I’ve known him for 16 years, for a long time, and I know he would justify this perfectly.”

He further continued, “When I showed him the visuals, he was all excited. Honey Bhai said, ‘This is the film I want to do’. Then he himself cracked the idea of ‘Hitman,’ saying that since it’s the story of a hitman, one of the songs should have the title ‘Hitman.’ When he narrated the song to me five or six days later, I knew this was going to create a buzz, and it’s already creating a buzz.”

Fateh is all set to release on the 10th of January 2025. Apart from Sonu Sood, Jacqueliene Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah and Dibyendu Bhattacharya. will also be seen in the film. The film is directed by Sonu Sood.
