EXCLUSIVE: Sriti Jha reveals she DIDN’T audition for Kumkum Bhagya despite not having the ‘privilege of making choices’

Sriti Jha is a well-known actress known for her strong presence in the television space. From Balika Vadhu, to Kumkum Bhagya and many more, the actress has received love and appreciation from her fans. One of the most famous serials of Sriti Jha is Kumkum Bhagya.

Now, in a recent exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Sriti Jha opened up about the serials and shared that she had not auditioned for Kumkum Bhagya.

Sriti Jha did not audition for Kumkum Bhagya

Sriti Jha got into an exclusive conversation with us where she spoke about her roles and playing strong characters on screen. Speaking of the same, Sriti said, “For the longest time, I was doing the first show that came my way or the first audition that I would get through. One was not in the position to have the privilege of making choices that people are coming with offers or that people met me to narrate a story is a very recent change that I have experienced in my career. It was not so earlier.”

She added, “The first show that came as an offer to me was Kumkum Bhagya. That I did not audition for. Uske pehle, everything I auditioned and tested and whatever was the first job offer I got through was the show I ended up doing. But yes, I have been fortunate to have been part of scripts that were talking about important things. I have had the privilege of playing a mentally unstable person with someone suffering from split personality. I have played Ganga in Balika Vadhu who was a child bride. However, I do believe that it comes with a lot of responsibility when you are telling such a story.”
