Jennifer Mistry known for playing Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah had accused producer Asit Kumarr Modi of sexual harassment along with operation head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj. On Tuesday, Mumbai Police registered the case. Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Bubble, Jennifer opened up about being called to the police station last night.

Jennifer Mistry said, “My FIR has been registered last night. I was in the police station from 7:30 pm evening to midnight 12:30 am and finally, now the law will take its course. I don’t know what’s next but I am just praying for the highest good of everyone involved. Whatever will happen will be for the good. The Universe compelled me to take this. After so many days of filing a statement, there was no action. Yesterday finally I was called to the police station and now the charges have been pressed.”
Just a few hours back, ANI reported, “Powai Police has registered a case against Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Modi, operation head Sohail Ramani, and executive producer Jatin Bajaj under sections 354 and 509 of the IPC based on a complaint by an actor of the show. No arrests have been made in this case so far: Mumbai Police.”

The complaint is filed under IPC (Indian Penal Code) sections 354 and 509 i.e. assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty.
All this started when Jennifer Mistry left the show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah. The actress revealed that in March 2019 when the crew was shooting in Singapore, Asit Kumarr Modi made her uncomfortable.
