EXCLUSIVE: Urvashi Rautela believes no star kids can play Parveen Babi; reveals biopic is delayed as, “A director doesn’t want it to be made”

The actress discussed about shelved biopic on Parveeb Babi, “Obviously, uss script mein kaam chal raha hai because director feels ki main bilkul Parveen Babi ki tarah dikhti hain, meri aankhein aur woh beech ki maang ka hairstyle jo banati hu, toh main lagti hu. Aur woh koi star kid bhi nahi play kar sakti Parveen Babi ka role. Toh uske hisaab se, I’m the best choice for this film. But, kyunki yeh film rahegi toh unki relationships ke baare mein bhi bataya jayega. Film mein unke relationship with all the stars,
directors, and all. Unfortunately, they don’t want things to happen, so that’s what
is happening right now.”

Talking about the project facing delays, the actress continued, “Unfortunately, unki joh relationship thi with one of the directors, that person doesn’t want ki yeh film banne. Toh uss chakkar mein humari film thoda sa delay pe gayi hain. A lot of times people don’t want things to happen. SO that’s why…”

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol’s action thriller Daaku Maharaaj has achieved a significant milestone, crossing ₹100 crore at the worldwide box office within just four days, according to the makers. Despite facing considerable backlash for its song “Dabidi Dibidi,” featuring Urvashi Rautela, the film continues to perform strongly. Directed by Bobby Kohli, the movie also features Shraddha Srinath, Prakash Raj, and others in pivotal roles.
