EXCLUSIVE: Vahbiz Dorabjee ADMITS she’s “not a reality show kinda person;” reveals why she clarified Bigg Boss 18 participation rumours with a statement

Actress Vahbiz Dorabjee – who is well-known for her versatile performances in shows such as Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani, Savitri Ek Prem Kahanj, Bahu Hamari Rajnikant and more, will soon essay a pivotal role in Star Plus’ Deewaniyat. The actress recently sat down with Bollywood Bubble for an exclsuive chat and got candid about several things, especially reality shows. During the chat, Vahbiz revealed why she hasn’t been part of any reality show to date. She also got candid about releasing a statement denying her participation in Bigg Boss 18.

Talking about reality shows and if she’s willing to participate in them, Vahbiz Dorabjee said, “I don’t know yaar. I’ve not been a reality show-kinda person. I’ve always been an actor first so that’s the reason I’ve stayed away from reality shows. But never say never.” When pointed out that she had been approached for reality shows in the past, the actress replied, “Of course I’ve been offered.”

On being probed about whether she was approached for the ongoing season of the Salman Khan-hosted show, Vabhiz said, “Bigg Boss 18, that’s not true at all. I’ve not been offered (it). In fact, I’ve been offered all the other Bigg Boss but not BB 18. It’s a rumour and a rumour that spread like wildfire.” Talking about why she issued a statement denying the reports, the actress stated, “I didn’t have a choice. The funny part is I’m doing a show on Star Plus – I’m doing Deewaniyat so how can I be here (on Bigg Boss)? I owe an answer to my makers, my producers and my channel.”

Talking about BB, she said, “Bigg Boss is mentally challenging, that’s why I get scared,. That’s why I’ve never said yes till today. You have to be mentally very strong (to do it). I can’t imagine myself in such situations (like having to be without food).”
