Vikrant Massey on doing women-centric movies
Speaking about lending support to the female-oriented movies, Vikrant told us, “To be very honest I only came to realize this now, like you said. I never saw it that way. I always felt especially during that phase when I was doing Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare or Chhapaak or whether it is Lipstick Under My Burkha. Somebody had to play those parts and you can’t be thinking like that. I mean in those films I played an antagonist, this world is filled with such people. So somebody has to play their part and I don’t know, I understood all this later but all this came naturally came to me. Speaking about security, I back myself, I do back myself. I know what I possess but there are moments of doubt as well.“
“Now you could call that insecurity as well there are moments of doubt. Am I doing it right? Am I heading in the right direction or am I giving my direct what he or she wants? But life goes on, and dilemmas come and go. I really don’t know how to answer this question of how secure I am. I think it just comes naturally to me,” he added.
Vikrant Massey is now gearing up for the release of 12th Fail which is scheduled to release on October 26.
