EXCLUSIVE: Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi strongly REACT to their daughter’s bikini photos going viral

The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri never minces his words. This year, during the release of Pathaan, in his tweet he posted a young girl’s video slamming song Besharam Rang. After his post, pictures of his daughter Mallika wearing a bikini on the beach went viral on social media. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi have strongly reacted to the incident and negative comments about their daughter.

Vivek Agnihotri reacts to daughter Mallika’s bikini pictures going viral

Vivek said, “It’s not for us to deal, it’s for my daughter to do so. When people took out
her pictures from Instagram they started putting them everywhere so we called her and said, ‘Okay so what’. To which Mallika replied, ‘It’s okay don’t worry about it, I know how to handle it. So I want my children to be able to handle their own lives and if they are putting out anything in public they are responsible and answerable for it. It’s for her to decide how she wants to deal with it.
We never tell them what we believe in and our children think very differently. They are totally independent souls and that’s how we like our relationships, our friendships. With everybody, we behave that way. It’s not that we are better than anyone else, but I say it’s your life. I have no problem with anybody’s opinion about anything in this world. You will never find me questioning anybody about their opinion. It’s one-way traffic and I express myself.”

Pallavi Joshi added, “As Vivek said, had they been minors, then yes my reaction would have been different. By the time she had taken all the necessary steps. She had made her account private. Katina told me, ‘Mama you’re not on social media, hence you don’t understand this. So it’s best that you stay out of it. But don’t worry about me I’m absolutely fine.”
