EXCLUSIVE: Was Abhishek Malhan insecure about Elvish Yadav? Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner reveals

Bigg Boss OTT 2, hosted by Salman Khan, concluded with a special finale episode on 14 August. Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan were the top two finalists. While Elvish Yadav emerged as a winner, Abhishek Malhan became the first runner-up. With this win, Elvish created history as despite being a wild card entrant, he won the controversial reality show. Throughout the show, his bond with Abhishek was much talked about. But during the finale episode, Abhishek Malhan’s comments that a wildcard entry didn’t deserve to win Bigg Boss OTT 2 left every surprised. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Elvish has reacted to Abhishek’s comment. He also shared if he thinks Abhishek was insecure.

Elvish Yadav reacts to reports about Abhishek Malhan being insecure

As soon as Salman Khan announced Elvish as the winner, the YouTuber was elated. He even went on to say that he didn’t expect this win. Later, he shared his trophy with his close friends Abhishek and Manisha Rani. His gesture in no time was appreciated by the audience. But unfortunately, netizens also took cognizance of Abhishek’s statement.

When we asked Elvish, whether he will continue his brotherhood with Abhishek, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner said, “Ho raha hai wo continue hoga (The brotherhood will continue).”

Elvish further shares if he believes that Abhishek underestimated him. He averred, “Abhishek ne as such mujhe underestimate nahi kiya, in fact last me usne mujhe ye cheez boli aake ki agar mai votes me tumhare barabar bhi aata hu toh its an honour. Kyuki uska family base kaafi strong hai mere comparision me “(I don’t think Abhishek underestimated me. In fact, in the end he said that if I get votes similar to your count it will be an honour.)”

He also shared his thoughts on Abhishek’s comment and reveals if he thinks he was insecure. He shared, “Maine nahi dekha unko insecure hote hue. Wo merko samajhta tha kaafi, abhi bhi samajhta hai. Toh insecurity sawal nahi uthta. Usme badappan hai toh I don’t think usne aisa kuch socha hoga (I have not seen him getting insecure. He understands me quite well. He is mature so I don’t think he had any such thoughts.)”

Meanwhile, Elvish Yadav took home the Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. Abhishek Malhan was declared the runner-up. Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve, and Pooja Bhatt were the other finalists of the show.
