Jeet(Jeetendra Madnani)is an actor, film producer and television presenter. He is known for his work in Bengali cinema. Jeet is currently in news for being the first Tollywood actor to take a pan-India leap with his next release an action thriller Chengiz.
Recently the actor-producer sat down for an exclusive chat with us and opened up on his struggles and the rejections he faced in the early days of his career.
Jeet on facing rejection in the early days of his career
Speaking about his struggles and the rejections he faced in the world of television and the South industry the actor said, “Yeah yeah you have lows, and ups and downs in life. So I had my lows I had my Downs I had my UPS so yeah you uh have to self-motivate yourself that’s the best way to deal with it. Otherwise when I can’t even like handle myself then there is family around me who pushes me and motivates me and inspires me. I also read Swami Vivekananda, and Charlie Chaplin so all these their course their thoughts their mind so that motivates me again.”
He further opened up on the worst kind of rejection he faced at the beginning of his career and said, “At the beginning of my career there have been many hours chucked out of a television show because I could not perform. Generally, I could not perform the character so I was being very respectfully checked out of the character from the series that this is not meant for you.”
Jeet on having sleepless nights
Jeet added, “But I knew what it was, and I honestly confessed that I am. After the point in time when
I did a Telugu film that was a disaster, that was a super flop. I was outright rejected so that was again like I had doubts in myself whether I am at the right place in the right profession. Should I continue acting or give up? These were the questions uppermost in my mind. That was the phase when I had a few sleepless nights but besides that yeah by God’s days everything has been defined.”
