Cannes 2024: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan raises eyebrows in a dramatic evening gown

It’s that time of the year again when fans eagerly anticipate Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s red-carpet appearances at the Cannes Film Festival. This year, she promises to impress with one dramatic look after another. On day 4 of Cannes 2024, Aishwarya swapped her monochrome and gold ensemble for a striking combination of blues and silvers as she attended the screening of ‘Kinds of Kindness’.

Aishwarya’s second Cannes look was all about dramatic flair. Pictures shared on her fan accounts show her dressed in a silver and blue outfit featuring dramatic sleeves and a voluminous skirt. The actor truly embodied red-carpet royalty in a gown designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Despite recently injuring her hand and having it in a cast, she did not let this hinder her from making a stunning appearance. While her fans appreciated for posing with fractured hand, Aishwarya’s outfit fails to impress everyone once again. Her flashy blue and silver gown did not excite the audience. Although, once again her graceful walk and delightful smile is unmissable. The Devdas actresss flaunts her billion dollar smile as she waves at the cameras.

For her first look at the screening of ‘Megalopolis’, Aishwarya turned up in a monochrome gown with intricate gold detailing. She chose a dramatic gown with a flattering silhouette and puff sleeves that almost concealed her cast. Gold thunderbolts adorned her torso, and the long train was embellished with golden, hand-beaten, molten flowers. She accessorised with chunky gold hoops and radiant makeup.

Earlier in the day, fans spotted Aishwarya and her daughter, Aaradhya, in France. Pictures have circulated on internet where Aishwarya can be seen in a stylish blue jacket paired with a white shirt and trousers, while Aradhya looked comfortable in a leopard print coordinated set. The mother-daughter duo posed for a few pictures on the balcony of Hotel Martinez before Aishwarya changed for the red carpet.
