This film is filled with nostalgia and passion that invokes every cricket lover’s inner patriot.

This is yet again one of the movies which has touched my heart. Airlift captures the essence of patriotism and unity during times of crisis. The film tells the true story of the largest civilian evacuation in history, which took place during the Gulf War in 1990. Akshay Kumar portrays Ranjit Katyal, a successful Indian businessman who transforms into a self-centred individual. He takes on the responsibility of evacuating over 170,000 Indians stranded in Kuwait. Its depiction the undying spirit of the Indian community coming together, regardless of backgrounds and differences, to overcome adversity.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a film that will give you courage, and determination, and also breaks gender stereotypes. The film is based on the true story of Gunjan Saxena, the first Indian female Air Force pilot in combat. Janhvi Kapoor plays the lead. The movie showcases Gunjan’s journey as she battles stereotypes, faces discrimination, and ultimately proves her mettle during the Kargil War. I don’t know about you but this movie made me cry. It’s not a straight-up patriotic movie but Salman Khan’s character Pavan and his selflessness resonates with the qualities of most Indian. This heartwarming film is the perfect blend of emotion, cultural harmony, and the spirit of humanity. The story revolves around a Pakistani young girl child Munni getting separated from her mother. Pavan gives it his all travelling from India to Pakistan just to drop her back home. It underscores the importance of breaking down barriers and embracing the essence of brotherhood, which aligns perfectly with the spirit of the day.
