Mohammad Rafi doesn’t need any introduction. The name itself is enough for us to recollect his melodious voice which stole many hearts, years ago, and can make us skip a beat or two, even today. The versatility of this legend could be judged from the fact that he could rock a jazzing dance number as effortlessly as he could croon a romantic song.

Sadly, on July 31^st, 1980, this great singing legend breathed his last. Mohammad Rafi suffered a massive heart attack, and was no more. Such was the magnitude of sorrow on the departure of this great singer, that the Government of India had declared a two-day public holiday in his honour.

Today on his death anniversary, we have listed down a few songs of Rafi that will forever be in our hearts. Though we know that just a few numbers will not do any justice to the legend that he was, but still, in our own humble way, we have tried to pay a tribute to the one and only, Mohammad Rafi.
