As many as 17 VFX studios with around 800+ technicians were used in the making of 'Baahubali'. The visual effects alone cost a whopping Rs 85 crore. Interestingly, the VFX team is same as that of Hollywood flick 'Jurassic World'.

'Baahubali' is the first Indian movie to have a museum of its own that houses all the weapons, armours and costumes that the actors sport in the film.

The trailer of 'Baahubali' garnered 4.05 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours. It also crossed 1.5 million views on Facebook in a day.

Baahubali crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office in just 36 hours! The satellite rights of the film were sold for Rs 25 crore, another record by a Telugu movie. It also got re-released in theatres before the release of second part 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' in 2017.
