Celeb fashion that made us cringe

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt's denim outfit is too distressed to be a gown. Though it is out of the box, but we would have preferred it in some other fabric.

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha chose a cape dress designed by Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna with a long dupatta, and we would have preferred the dress minus the wing-shaped dupatta.

Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat who has always surprised us with her fashion sense at the Cannes, chose a light pink gown designed by Alexis Mabille and we thought it was a wrong choice.

Katrina Kaif

At the JIO MAMI event, Katrina Kaif wore this traditional red dress designed by Anamika Khanna which was too loud

Priyanka Chopra

At an event, Priyanka Chopra, who is riding high in Hollywood, chose this animal print dress with a Sabyasachi fur coat which was overdone on jazz.

Deepika Padukone

At a recent awards function, Deepika chose this black Gauri and Nainika number, which had a huge flower-like addition on the right shoulder. It certainly did not impress us. Is Ranveer's queer sense rubbing off on her? Maybe.

Ranveer Singh

Expect him to do the unexpected! Actor Ranveer Singh is never too shy to experiment with his clothes but this one was a bit too far. At Sohail Khan's birthday party, Ranveer Singh was seen in a tattered cream coloured kurta and similar coloured pants. The bandana on his head didn't help either.

Sonam Kapoor

At the inauguration of 7th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, Sonam Kapoor wore a pastel colored saree designed by Anavila. The long sleeves, shirt-like blouse and the floral printed saree reached her ankles, paired with boots looked like a recipe for disaster.

Being a public figure calls for a lot of attention and when you are a celebrity, the added pressure to look the best is all the more. But our celebs too are normal human beings and they too can have their faux pas moments in public. Many a times, even the best dressed celebs end up wearing something really unique and out-of-the-box which doesn’t impress the fashion police and they get tagged in the worst dressed category. It’s either lack of time to deck up or just the need to go completely crazy with the dressing sense, there have been many occasions when B-Townies have not impressed with their dressing sense.
