Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut opened a pandora box this year. From the time when all went sour due to her statements against her co-star Shahid Kapoor during 'Rangoon' promotions, to her nepotism statement on 'Koffee With Karan', to finally opening up on her alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan, Kangana was a controversy machine, in 2017 and would surely not want more of that in 2018.
Karan Johar
He was termed the 'flag-bearer of nepotism' by Kangana, on his own show. It could have been taken in jest but Karan being Karan, he went on to crack jokes on it and even went on to say on record how hurt he was. Karan's 2017 was solely dedicated to Kangana and controversies.
Hrithik Roshan
Like Karan, Hrithik's 2017, which started off on a good note with a hit like 'Kaabil' was marred by Kangana Ranaut, who opened a can of worms whilst she revealed details of her alleged affair with the actor on a talk show. Post that the actor came on national television to put his side of the story. We really think that Hrithik would not want any controversies post that, in this year.
Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar did everything right last year, down to the movies which had some or the other social message to deliver. However, one slip of tongue on a comedy show, which he said in jest to stand up comic Mallika Dua, and all hell broke loose. The man would surely not want any controversy this year.
Mira Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor's young wife and mother of Misha was invited to speak on Mother's Day wherein she spoke on how working mothers and mothers of pets are not as attentive. Though she may not have meant it, but her words were surely something which hurt many, resulting in her being heavily trolled. We know that Mrs Kapoor would not want any more controversies this year.
Shahid Kapoor
Like wifey Mira, one statement of Shahid that the naughtiest thing he has done till date is to marry the woman who was 5 when he was 18, created a furore. However, nothing was bigger than the 'Padmavati' controversy which even consumed the movie in its flames. Shahid would surely want a peaceful year, and an even more peaceful release for the movie.
Rishi Kapoor
The singer came into limelight, and not for a good reason, when in a series of tweets he blasted the nearby mosque and the concept of morning azaan which was disturbing his sleep. The man later clarified that he is not against any specific religion and that he is on the whole against the concept of display of religious popmnous. He even shaved his head and called for a press conference, on the behest of a maulvi who bashed Sonu. We truly think Sonu will want a peaceful 2018.
Sonu Nigam
Veteran actor and father of Ranbir Kapoor was in the midst of controversies mainly because of his tweets, which even landed him quite many abuses from across the border. Knowing Senior Kapoor, he would not exactly be a silent spectator this year as well.
Deepika Padukone
From religious 'saviours' wanting her beheaded and even labelling her Shoorpanakha for dancing as queen Padmavati whom the Rajputs worship in Rajasthan, Deepika's lap was full of controversies related to the movie where she plays the titular role. Deepika will seriously want to stay away from any this year, and would want a safe release for the movie as well.
Ranveer Singh
Just like alleged girlfriend Deepika, Ranveer, who is playing a negative role in the movie 'Padmavati' has had enough as far as controversies related to the movie are concerned, which have even delayed the original release of the movie, which was supposed to hit the screens on December 1, 2017.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Well, Nawazuddin will seriously think before picking up the pen next time. The seasoned actor whose biography was released this year, kicked the hornet's nest as all the females, from his ex-girlfriend during the NSD days to a co-star with whom he had an affair, came out in the open, forcing him to withdraw the book. The actor would surely want a calm 2018.
Controversies, controversies and some more controversies. 2017 had been the year when many were offended and for better or worse, Bollywood stars and their statements were taken out of context to create a hill out of a mole.

Be it Sonu Nigam’s Azaan controversy or the whole Padmavati fiasco, we are sure that these stars will be glad to shrug of all shreds of controversies this year, in 2018. (Also Watch: THROWBACK: Hrithik Roshan’s 2017 Looks Like This)
