PadMan vs Aiyaary
We had actually not foreseen this clash taking place. So, when the release date (26th Jan) of both the films were announced, we were expecting that one of them would change the release date especially the makers of ‘Aiyaary’ would opt to do that. But, from what it looks like, Sidharth Malhotra is all set to take on Akshay Kumar. It will be interesting to see the result of this clash.

Thugs of Hindostan vs Haathi Mere Saathi
When a film starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif is set to release we are sure no other filmmaker would dare to release his film on the same day. But, this year in Diwali Aamir, Katrina and Big B-starrer ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ will be facing a clash with Rana Daggubati’s ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’.
Total Dhamaal vs Namastey England
‘Total Dhamaal’ will bring back the superhit jodi of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit on the big screen after a long gap, and ‘Namastey England’ has Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chorpa who have also given a hit like ‘Ishaqzaade’. Let’s see if the audiences will prefer to watch a hit jodi of 90s or they will opt for a young jodi of Arjun and Parineeti.
The year 2017 witnessed quite a few box office clashes like ‘Kaabil’ vs ‘Raees’, ‘Half Girlfriend’ vs ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Baadshaho’ vs ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhan’, ‘Secret Superstar’ vs ‘Golmaal Again’, etc. While even due to the clash, most of the films did well, we cannot ignore that if the movies had solo release they would have done better.
