OMG – Oh My God starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal was one of the biggest hits in 2012. Now, Akshay Kumar is coming back with its sequel. OMG 2 has been making headlines for multiple seasons ever since it was announced. This time, Akshay is set to impress as Lord Shiva’s messenger. The sequel also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.

The sequel is about how Lord Shiva’s messenger (Akshay) helps Kanti (Pankaj) find justice for his son. The Amit Rai directorial releases tomorrow i.e. 11th August. Ahead of its release, let’s a look at the differences between Akshay Kumar starrer OMG – Oh My God and OMG 2.

Key differences between Akshay Kumar starrer OMG and OMG 2

Akshay Kumar as Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva’s messenger: In the first part, Akshay played Lord Krishna. The actor looked absolutely perfect as Lord Krishna. Also, his terrific performance received a lot of love. Now, Akshay is back. And well, this time, he is playing Lord Shiva’s messenger. Akshay as a messenger of Lord Shiva has also received a thumbs up from his fans. The actor along with the designer Leepakshi spent a lot of time designing his look in the sequel. And well, the efforts really paid off.

Paresh and Pankaj’s character: Paresh delivered a memorable performance in OMG – Oh My God. He played the role of Kanji Lalji Mehta, an atheist, who accuses God after an earthquake destroys his shop. On the other hand, in OMG 2, Pankaj plays the role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva.

Music album: While OMG – Oh My God had 12 songs including Don’t Worry (Hey Ram), Go Go Govinda, and Hari Bol, OMG 2’s music album is short. The sequel only has four songs including Har Har Mahadev and Oonchi Oonchi Waadi.
