The first character to make an appearance in the trailer is Queen Padmavati and oh my, Deepika looks every bit a queen. We are enchanted with the beauty of this lady and she has made us fall for her.

Scene between Deepika and Shahid

Shahid Kapoor essays the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh, Queen Padmavati's husband in the film. The time when these two come on screen for the first time, we were left with goosebumps. The chemistry that they share is commendable.

Ranveer eating meat

Ranveer Singh essays the role of dreaded Sultan Alauddin Khilji in the film and what a spectacular performance he has delivered. Keeping up with his ferocious aura there is a scene wherein we see Ranveer hogging on meat, and he comes out every as ruthless as he is supposed to be.

The war scene!

Being a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, it is given that we would see larger than life drama on screen. Keeping up with this, the war scene that we get to see in trailer, it is simply nerve-wracking.

The Jauhar scene

We know that in the end, Queen Padmavati performs jauhar(an act of diving alive into fire to save her dignity). We get a glimpse of this in the trailer and we literally had goosebumps.
