Mukku in Kedarnath
In her debut film, Sara essayed the role of Mandakini ‘Mukku’ Mishra, the younger daughter of a Hindu priest who falls in love with Mansoor Khan, a local Muslim porter who carried pilgrims to the Kedarnath Temple. Though shown to be rebellious at the start, Khan’s character shows just how strong she is as she fights for her love and even mends her relationship with her father in the end.
Rinku/Manjari in Atrangi Re

While as Rinku, we saw her strength as she went to extreme lengths to be with her lover – despite being forcefully married to another, as Manjari, we witness her being strong by being with the man she loves despite opposition from her family and making the ultimate sacrifice to be with him.
Meesha/Fatima in Gaslight
