Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam starrer OMG 2 is one of the most talked-about films right now. OMG 2, which is a sequel to OMG: Oh My God (2012), will release soon. The trailer of Akshay’s OMG 2 was unveiled by the makers a few days ago. It had received a good response from netizens. Akshay is playing Lord Shiva’s messenger:

In the first part, Akshay played Lord Krishna. In the upcoming sequel, Akshay is playing the role of Lord Shiva’s messenger who helps Kanti Sharan Mudgal (played by Pankaj Tripathi) find justice for his son.

Akshay spent a lot of time designing his look:

For the uninitiated, Akshay along with the designer Leepakshi spent a lot of time designing his look in the sequel. The look needed to be distressed and at the same time, it needed a certain divinity for the sake of his character. Designer Leepakshi had to do a lot of mixing and matching to come to Akshay’s final look in the film, which also had to have a certain fashion sense.

Akshay’s film will clash with Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 at the box office. Sunny is returning as Tara Singh whereas Ameesha is back as Sakina in the sequel. Both the movies are releasing on 11^th August.
