Cannes 2009: At Cannes 2009, a foreign journalist asked her when she will be seen in the nude on screen and she shut him down like a boss. The actress gave it back saying, “I’ve never ever explored and NOT interested in exploring NUDITY on celluloid.” When the journalist insisted she answer the question on doing nude scenes in her films, she said, “You’re a journalist, brother! Aishwarya’s sassy reply: In 2005, Aishwarya was asked by David Letterman on his show, “Do you still stay with your parents, and is it normal in India?” Aishwarya gave a sassy reply. Aishwarya’s appearance on Oprah Winfrey: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan once guested on Oprah Winfrey’s show. Oprah asked them about their wedding and Abhishek explained that the Indian wedding festivities go on for over a week. After hearing about the ceremonial fire and seven rounds, Oprah joked, “Wow, seven rounds, it’s hard to get divorced after that.” To this, Aishwarya responded saying, “We don’t even entertain that thought.” Aishwarya and Abhishek tied the knot in 2007. On Body-shaming: The actress once revealed how she was body shamed for post-pregnancy weight gain after daughter Aaradhya’s birth. She told DNA, “When I become a mother, it was the most beautiful feeling in the world. There were several hormonal changes within, but it didn’t change anything. And way before all this, whenever people would ask me fashion or trend-based questions, I’d always them them to be comfortable in their skin. At least now you know I meant it and it wasn’t just for the quote. I believed it when I said that positivity is so much more than negativity and it can help to ease the crushing impacts of that. Reacting to the trolling, she told Pinkvilla, “I had fun with it. It’s interesting and evoked all kinds of responses, and art does that.
