Skincare brand: This year was more special for the birthday girl as she also launched her own skincare brand called 9SKIN.

Bollywood debut: Nayanthara also made her Bollywood debut in 2023. In her first Bollywood debut film, she shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress played a cop, as well as his wife in the film. SRK and Nayanthara starrer Jawan did well at the box office. The Atlee directorial entered 1000 crore club at the worldwide box office.

On missing Jawan’s promotions: Nayanthara was missing from Jawan’s promotional events. She had made headlines for that reason a lot. The actress had once revealed the reason behind not attending the promotional events of her movies. Speaking with Vogue India, she had said, “I don’t want the world to know what I am thinking. I am a very private person. I’m not very good with crowds.”

Rumours of her tiff with Atlee: After the release of Jawan, there were reports that all is not well between Nayanthara and Atlee. It was said that Nayanthara is upset with Atlee for chopping her role in the film and her character was sidelined. Jawan also starred Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra.
