We are quite excited to catch them in the trailer as we will get a glimpse of the two of them together, before the movie hits the screens. Plus, we hope that we get to see a face-off between the two in the trailer, as they both play basket ball players in the movie. A hit pair makes the crux of a love story. Chetan is known for scripting unique love stories that appeal to the masses. The story of 'Half Girlfriend' is quite unique in itself. We have to see how much a gist of this unique story can be given out to us, without many revelations, in the trailer.

First glimpse of Arjun Kapoor’s dialect

The ones who have read the novel would know that actor Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the part of Madhav Jha, a boy who hails from Bihar. The actor had undergone dialect training for this and we must say the result is impressive. Recently, the actor had shared a video on his Twitter handle where he was seen speaking Hindi in a Bhojpuri accent perfectly. He is playing an unconventional hero, and we would love to see more of him in the trailer. We are particularly waiting for the scene where he meets the character of Shraddha Kapoor, i.e. Riya Somani, for the first time. Wait for it!

Will Shraddha Kapoor and Mohit Suri’s hit jodi hit a hat-trick of trailer hits?

Both of them had first worked together in 'Aashiqui 2' (2013), which was a blockbuster. Post the super success of this film, 'Ek Villain' (2014) followed with its own success story at box office. The trailers of 'Aashiqui 2' and 'Ek Villain' created records of views, and the same is expected from the trailer of 'Half Girlfriend' too. P.S. Two motion posters with beautiful instrumentals, scenic backdrop, and a mysterious love story of Madhav (Arjun) and Riya (Shraddha), have been presented to us. We also have a teaser wherein we see a befuddled Madhav, who is confused as to what does the term half girlfriend mean? This has further heightened our curiousity. We just cannot wait to see what more developments will be offered to us in the trailer. Probably the trailer will answer this question that has been bugging Madhav's mind.
