A quick look at star cast of 'Baahubali' before and after the movie

Prabhas

Actor Prabhas who plays the title role of Baahubali in both the movies is a successful actor down South. Known for his action-packed roles, the success of 'Baahubali' gave him worldwide recognition. He had a small guest appearance in the Hindi movie 'Action Jackson'.

Rana Daggubati

Actor Rana Daggubati plays the antagonist Bhallala Deva in the movie. His beefed-up look in 'Baahubali' was much appreciated. The actor has worked in many Hindi movies like 'Dum Maaro Dum', 'Department', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Baby' and the recently released 'The Ghazi Attack'.

Prabhakar

Prabhakar played the role of Kalakeya in 'Baahubali' and his transformation in the movie will give you nightmares.

Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah Bhatia is a successful actress in South film industry and has also worked in Bollywood movies like 'Himmatwala', 'Humshakals', 'Entertainment', 'Tutak Tutak Tutiya'. Her role of Avanthika in 'Baahubali' gave her a different dimension.

Anushka Shetty

A sought after name in Tollywood, actress Anushka Shetty has mostly played romantic roles. Her character of Devasena in 'Baahubali' has may layers and is intriguing.

Sathyaraj

Actor Sathyaraj is best remembered for his character of a don and father to Deepika Padukone in the movie 'Chennai Express'. His character of Kattappa who is a loyal slave and an agile swordsman kills Baahubali and the mystery will unfold in the second part.

Ramya Krishnan

Actress Ramya Krishnan has worked in quite a few Hindi movies like 'Wajood', 'Shapath', 'Criminal', 'Loha' and 'Dayavan', to name a few. The actress played the role of Sivagami Devi, a strong-headed queen with complete ease.

Sudeep

Sudeep is a well-known name in the South film industry and he has also worked in Hindi movies like 'Phoonk' and its sequel, 'Rakta Charitra' franchise. His character of a Persian trader dealing in weapons in 'Baahubali' was much appreciated.

Nasser

Best remembered for his role in 'Rowdy Rathore', Nasser has essayed the role of a serious father many times in Tollywood. So, his role of a shrewd character in 'Baahubali' was a welcome change.

The biggest blockbuster of 2015, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, is going to unveil the second part this year in April called as ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. And we all are looking forward to the second part which will answer the most important question on every person’s mind, “Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?”.
