Veteran actress Sridevi was cremated with full state honours on Wednesday evening. Among other Bollywood stars, there were some who couldn’t make it and missed attending this funeral and here we bring to you the list of them, along with the reasons for their absence.

Aamir Khan

Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist aka Aamir Khan also couldn’t make it to offer his condolences to the grieving family. The superstar is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ due to which unfortunately he had to miss this.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan had shared screen space with late Sridevi as a child actor in their film ‘Bhagwaan Dada’ (1986). After wrapping up the first schedule of shooting of his upcoming film ‘Super 30’ in Varanasi, he started shooting the next schedule in Jaipur, due to which he couldn’t make it to attend Sridevi’s funeral.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan

Saif Ali Khan is currently in Rajasthan where he is shooting for director Navdeep Singh’s next untitled project. Kareena Kapoor along with their son Taimur Ali Khan had accompanied him there for a few days. Owing to this, the couple couldn’t pay their last respects to Sridevi.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

It was a few days ago when filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ went on floors in Sofia, Bulgaria. Due to a tight shooting schedule, the lead stars of the film Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt missed Sridevi’s funeral.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are currently shooting for their next film ‘Sui Dhaaga – Made In India’ in Bhopal. As the shooting schedule is on, the lead stars of the film couldn’t pay their last respects to Sridevi.

Kriti Sanon took to her Twitter sharing, “You will be missed Srideviji and will always be in our hearts.. couldn’t be there to pay my last respects.. But my prayers are with you and your family..” The actress is currently in Chandigarh, shooting for her next film ‘Arjun Patiala’.
