Rani Mukerji
After giving a power packed performance in ‘Mardaani’ in 2014, Rani Mukerji opted to take a break and start a family. The actress turned a mother in December 2015, and now, this year she is all set to make a comeback with a film titled ‘Hichki’. The actress will start shooting of the film next month, and had recently revealed that the film will release this year.
Sridevi
After a gap of 15 years, Sridevi made her big screen comeback in 2012 with the film ‘English Vinglish’. The film was a hit at the box office and everyone kept waiting for the actress’ next film. However, Sridevi once again took a break, and will be making her comeback in Bollywood after five years with the film titled ‘MOM’.
Raveena Tandon
She was last seen as a lead in the film ‘Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap’, and unfortunately even in that film she was wasted. However, she will now be seen in a film titled ‘Maatr’ which will be hitting the screens in April this year. We can surely expect a great performance from her in the film.
Manisha Koirala
Manisha Koirala’s last Bollywood film was ‘Bhoot Returns’ which had released in 2012. The film failed at the box office, and after sometime the actress was diagnosed with cancer. However, Manisha fought with the disease and is not fit and fine. She will be making her big screen comeback with Sanjay Dutt’s biopic in which she will be seen playing the role of Nargis Dutt.
Parineeti Chopra
In 2014, Parineeti Chopra had back-to-back flops with films like ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ and ‘Kill Dil’. The actress was then not seen in any film for at least around two years. Last year, she did a song in Varun Dhawan and John Abraham-starrer ‘Dishoom’. And now, after nearly around three years, her fans will get to see her on the big screen in ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ which is slated to release in May this year. She also has ‘Golmaal Again’ in her kitty.
Every year we wait to watch the films of our favourite actress. However, there are years when we don’t get to see them on the big screens. Well, there are many reasons why an actress decides not to do a film, and one of the main reasons is the maternity break that they take. However, this year there are many actresses who are all set to make a comeback on the silver screen and we are sure they will rule it.
