Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai got married to Abhishek Bachchan, son of megastar Amitabh Bachchan. She wore a traditional, golden yellow Kanjeevaram saree on her wedding, which had the Swarovski crystals and gold threadwork designed by Neeta Lulla. She kept her hair braided, and covered with flowers. She wore 22 karat gold jewellery, which included a gold and emerald armband.

Esha Deol

The elder daughter of Hema Malini and Dharmendra tied the knot to businessman Bharat Takhtani in June 2012. Esha wore a bright red and gold lehenga which was designed by Neeta Lulla, for her special day. Her lehenga was made by combining three heavy Kanjeevaram sarees, which were specially ordered from South India. The dress was complemented by heavy traditional Temple jewelry in gold.

Genelia D’Souza

Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh tied the knot on February 3, 2012. For the Maharashtrian wedding, Genelia wore a bridal saree, designed by the Bollywood brides’ favorite designer, Neeta Lulla. The saree had a gold Kundan border. Traditional Maharashtrian jewelry completed Genelia’s wedding day look.

Gul Panag

Gul Panag had a traditional Sikh wedding ceremony in a Gurudwara, in Chandigarh. She opted for an onion pink lehenga for her D-day, which was designed by J.J. Vallaya. Her bridal look was complete with a heavy gold neckpiece, earrings, and maang tikka, studded with contrasting green stones. And, she even added cool glares to comfort her eyes during the daytime wedding.

Kajol

Kajol and Ajay Devgn tied the knot in a typical Maharashtrian ceremony in February 1999. Kajol wore a traditional Maharashtrian bridal saree in green with gold embroidery work on it.

Kalki Koechlin

Kalki Koechlin had got married to the filmmaker and director Anurag Kashyap on April 30, 2011. They tied the knot in a simple South Indian ceremony, which took place in a village on the outskirts of Ooty. Kalki wore a traditional South Indian style white and red Kanjeevaram saree. More than her wedding ceremony look, it is her colorful lehenga that is worth drawing inspirations from, which she wore for her post-wedding party. It is a mango, fuchsia and orange lehenga with bare minimum gold jewelry. The actress and the filmmaker parted their ways after a few years of being together.

 

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s wedding has been one of the most talked-about Bollywood weddings so far. For her wedding, Kareena wore her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s wedding gharara, which was restored by Ritu Kumar. After the photo-ops of the royal couple, Kareena switched the gharara skirt for a comfortable churidaar and a lighter dupatta. Kareena later slipped into a Manish Malhotra designed burgundy color lehenga with maroon dupatta. Kareena wore heavy gold and Kundan jewelry on both occasions respectively.

Karisma Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor’s bridal look gets a thumbs up for her choice of color for her outfit. Though the ever-so-fair Karisma looked heavily decked up in the intricately embroidered lehenga choli, matching jewelry, traditional chooda and kalire, she carried it off so effortlessly and beautifully.

Madhuri Dixit

The Dhak-Dhak girl of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit got married to Dr. Sriram Nene. Madhuri, looked stunning in golden ethnic wear, with elaborate and intricate work on it. She matched it with a net dupatta. This minimal look, combined with matching gold jewelry, made the diva look like a million bucks.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra

The dazzlingly beautiful diva of Bollywood, Shilpa Shetty makes every girl go green with her perfect figure and a million-dollar smile. She tied the knot with businessman Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009. The wedding ceremony was a traditional Hindu wedding for which Shilpa wore a burgundy and red saree style lehenga. The saree was decorated with Swarovski crystals. Shilpa wore heavy Kundan jewelry, which perfectly matched her attire and tied her hair in a braid covered with flowers.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone looked mesmerizing in her wedding pictures. The actress had carried two different outfits as per the wedding rituals, which was followed by the Konkani tradition and the Anand Karaj. Priyanka Chopra
