Over the years, we have several Indian actors who have ventured into other film industries and tried getting out of their comfort zone, overcoming language barriers. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, and several other actors from Bollywood have featured in films of other entertainment industries. In recent times, a few Bollywood celebs have set their sights on projects from the South film industry and are soon set to make their debuts as well. Deepika Padukone

The Bollywood diva will feature in a film opposite Prabhas. At the end of 2021, Padukone kick-started the shooting on the film directed by Nag Ashwin. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, apart from Deepika and Prabhas. While many think Deepika is all set to make her debut, about 15 years ago, the actress had featured in the 2006 Kannada film called Aishwarya, that was released before 2007 film Om Shanti Om co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn is all set to feature in the film RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli. The film was scheduled to release in the first week of January, 2022, however, the release was postponed. It will now release in March, this year. The actor has a cameo appearance in the movie. The film also features Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Alia Bhatt.

Alia Bhatt

The actress will make her South film industry debut with the SS Rajamouli directed film RRR. The movie also stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Ajay Devgn. Alia plays the character of Sita in the pan-India movie.

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt is all set to feature in the pan-India film KGF: Chapter 2. The movie also stars Yash and Raveena Tandon. The film marks Dutt’s debut in the South industry.

Raveena Tandon

Raveena will make her South debut will the film KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie features Yash and Sanjay Dutt. Tandon plays the role of Ramika Sen, in the upcoming pan-India movie.

Ananya Panday

Panday, who made her Hindi film debut with Student Of The Year 2, is all set to make her debut in four more languages—Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The actress will be seen opposite actor Vijay Deverakonda in the Puri Jagannath directed film Liger.
