The Brahmastra actress had appeared in a Manyavar advertisement campaign for bridal wear. In the ad, the actress is shown questioning the tradition of ‘kanyadaan’. The concept received a strong mixed reaction from viewers with many accusing it of hurting religious sentiments. Alia Bhatt had to face severe criticism for her quote.
Shah Rukh Khan

The Badshah faced criticism for endorsing a skin-lightening cream product a couple of years ago. Netizens trolled him and soon launched an online campaign against the superstar. The star soon stopped promoting and encouraging fairness creams.
Akshay Kumar

The Raksha Bandhan star joined Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan in promoting Vimal Universe. However, he had to face bitter ire from his fans and was also slammed for endorsing the product. Akshay soon had to issue an apology and he also opted out of the deal.
Amitabh Bachchan

The actors had come together for a Macho brand advertisement. The ad showcases Vicky attending a Yoga Class but as he raises his hands for an asana his shirt rides up displaying the brand. This leaves Rashmika Mandanna the trainer excited and she begins counting slowly. Netizens called the ad cheap. Both the actors were criticised for being a part of it.
