In this particular film, Irrfan Khan played the character of an athlete. A soldier in the Indian Army, who wins a gold medal at the Indian National Games but is forced to become a notorious dacoit due to some circumstances, Irrfan was the best in it.

Irrfan Khan delivered a power-packed performance in 'Hindi Medium'. The film's story revolves around the life of a middle class couple who wishes to enter the likes of the elite.
