Shahid Kapoor

Actor Shahid Kapoor made his debut with the 2003 movie 'Ishq Vishk' and followed it with a string of flop movies like 'Fida', 'Dil Maange More', 'Deewane Hue Paagal' and many more. His first ever blockbuster was in the year 2006, Sooraj Barjatya's 'Vivah'. He has done a total of 29 movies in his career out of which 16 movies turned out to be flops, only one was a blockbuster. So, the flop ratio of his movies is 61.54%.

John Abraham

Actor John Abraham enjoys a huge fan following thanks to his good looks. The actor's filmography boasts of around 34 films and he is yet to deliver a blockbuster. He has two superhits to his credit in the form of 'Garam Masala' and 'Jism'. He delivered 19 flops and hence his flop ratio of movies is 55.88%.

Emraan Hashmi

Emraan Hashmi has done around 33 movies in Bollywood and has given two blockbusters in the same year 2011, 'Murder 2' and 'The Dirty Picture'. Then, he gave two superhits like 'Murder' and 'Jannat'. His flops and disasters amount to 18 and his flop ratio is 54.55%.

Akshay Kumar

Actor Akshay Kumar does as many as 3-4 films a year and has done around 112 movies so far. He has delivered three blockbusters in the form of 'Welcome', 'Rowdy Rathore' and 'Jolly LL.B 2'. He has given 55 flops until now and his flop ratio is 49%.

Ajay Devgn

Actor Ajay Devgn has done around 91 films in his career and he has given just two blockbusters like 'Raajneeti' and 'Golmaal 3' and five superhits. But, he has also given 42 flops and disasters and so his flop ratio is 46.15%.

Ranveer Singh

In a very short span of time, Ranveer Singh has established himself amongst the top actors of Bollywood. With a filmography that boasts of 12 films till now, the actor has managed to give just one superhit in the form of 'Bajirao Mastani' in 2015. He has not delivered a single blockbuster, but continues to rule the hearts of millions of fans. He has four flops to his credit and his flop ratio is 44.45%.

Ranbir Kapoor

Actor Ranbir Kapoor is an eye-candy for millions of girls and despite many of his movies turning out to be flops, the actor has managed to sustain his star status. He delivered two blockbusters like 'Raajneeti' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani' and two superhits like 'Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani' and 'Barfi'. He gave six flop movies and his flop ratio is 40.0%.

Bollywood and box office go hand-in-hand. The box office fate of a movie determines its success and flop ratio. And then, there are those coveted clubs starting from 100 crore, 200 crore and so on. Many of our Bollywood actors who are very much successful today, have not done wonders at the box office with every movie that they have worked in. Their stardom has clearly surpassed their flop ratio as nobody really remembers how many flop movies these actors delivered. One blockbuster, and their success went to an all-time high. These are the actors who have survived thanks to their hard work and massive fan following, and clearly their flop ratio hasn’t affected their stardom wee bit.
