Not only actors, many Bollywood actresses have also landed on the wrong side of the law. Though many of them may not have been guilty they may have knowingly or unknowingly got involved in such incidents.

Actress and rumoured girlfriend of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on September 8, 2020. It was for allegedly procuring drugs. She was behind bars in Byculla jail for nearly a month before being granted bail by the Bombay High Court on October 7.

Monica was arrested with Abu Salem from the Portugal airport for having a fake passport. The Bollywood actress was sent to jail for 3 years. She had to spend two years in Portugal jail and she was then sent to India.

In the year 2001, the ‘Sarfarosh’ lady Sonali Bendre was arrested for hurting the religious sentiments of people. She had dressed up in a yellow kurta with sacred words ‘Om’ and ‘Om Namah Shivay’ printed on it. The actress and her designer were arrested but granted bail with a fine of Rs 12000.

The popular Bollywood actress shocked everyone with her alleged involvement in a scandalous sex racket. Reports said the 23-year-old actor was caught “in a compromising position” after the Hyderabad Police raided a famous hotel at the upscale Banjara Hills in the city. Shweta was caught by the Hyderabad police and detained. She was kept in a remand home for approximately two months but later relieved from the charges.
