Bollywood Celebrities who have been out on bail for serious crimes

Salman Khan

Dabbang Khan of Bollywood has been accused for killing blackbuck and for a hit and run case. While he has been acquitted for the latter, he was recently sentenced to five year imprisonment. However, he is now out on bail.

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt was arrested for illegal possession of arms, during the 1993 Bombay riots. Though he was bailed then, but in 2013, Supreme Court sentenced him to five years for the crime. He is now out.

Saif Ali Khan

Nawab of Pataudi was charged with assault under section 325 of the Indian Penal code. He allegedly punched a South-African businessman which resulted in a fracture.

Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan was arrested for possession of cocaine, in 2001. He was released from jail in 5 days and also was released from the case.

Inder Kumar

In 2014, Inder Kumar was accused of raping a model at his house. He was arrested by Versova Police and was later granted bail. The actor is no more now.

Shiney Ahuja

Shiney Ahuja was accused by his maid for raping her. He was arrested and jailed for this crime.

Ankit Tiwari

Bollywood's sensational singer was arrested on charges of raping his ex- girlfriend in 2014. Later on he was granted bail.

John Abraham

In 2006, John Abraham rammed his Hayabusa onto a cycle injuring 2 people. He was sentenced for 15 days in jail for this act. Although he got bail soon. He was kind enough to pay the bills of the victims who got hurt.

Puru Raaj Kumar

Son of veteran actor Raaj Kumar, Puru Kumar, was convicted for a hit-and-run case. Just like Salman he also was charged for severely injuring many and killing 3 people. He is currently out on bail.
