Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu
The legendary actor Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu have a huge age gap of around 20 years but that hasn't affected their marriage a bit. It's well known to people that they don't have kids, but the real reason was not known. Until, veteran actor Dilip Kumar bared it all in his autobiography 'The Substance and the Shadow'. He revealed in the book that in the year 1972, his wife Saira got pregnant for the first time, but when she was eight months into the term, she suffered a miscarriage due to blood pressure issues. Post that incident, she could not conceive again.
Kajol and Ajay Devgn
Kajol married Ajay Devgn in 1999. In the year 2001, she was pregnant but had an unfortunate miscarriage because of ectoscopic pregnancy. She underwent an operation for the same. The same had been confirmed by a distraught Ajay in an interview back then. He had said, "Yes, we have lost our baby but we have no regrets. it was an ectoscopic pregnancy. Kajol's life was in danger. As soon as the doctors informed us that they would have to operate, we both gave them the go-ahead."
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao
Actor Aamir Khan tied the knot with Kiran Rao in the year 2005. In the year 2009, Kiran was expecting their first child, but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. Aamir shared this sad news in his blog. Then in 2011, Aamir made a happy announcement about the birth of their baby boy Azad Rao Khan. The baby was conceived through IVF surrogacy.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri
Shah Rukh Khan settled in matrimony with his girlfriend Gauri in the year 1991. While, we all know that Gauri gave birth to a boy in 1997 and named him Aryan and three years later, gave birth to a girl and named her as Suhana, nobody knows about her miscarriage. SRK spoke about it on a TV show 'Yaaron Ki Baraat' hosted by Sajid Khan. He was invited as a guest along with Anushka Sharma and when they got talking about some incidents from the past, he spilled the beans on this. He stated that Gauri had a miscarriage when he was shooting for his movie 'Pardes' (1997) in the USA. Thankfully, the actress was blessed with two wonderful kids. And now, they have another kid in the form of little AbRam who was born in 2013 via surrogacy.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra
In the year 2009, actress Shilpa Shetty tied the knot with businessman Raj Kundra. Soon after her wedding, reports of her being pregnant surfaced all around. But, reports suggested that she suffered a miscarriage. She was in her first trimester when this happened. Then, in the year 2012, she delivered a baby boy and named him Viaan.
Fardeen Khan and Natasha Madhvani
Actor Fardeen Khan got married to Natasha Madhvani (daughter of yesteryear actress Mumtaz) in 2005. Then, in the year 2012, Fardeen took to his Twitter page to share the amazing news of he and his wife expecting twins. But, destiny had other plans as the couple lost the babies to a miscarriage. Thankfully, a year later, Natasha delivered a baby girl and the parents named her Diana Isabelle Khan.
