Brahmastra: The hefty fees of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt & other cast members will blow your mind

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra is all set to hit the theatres on 9th September. The Ayan Mukerji directorial has taken almost four years to complete. After years of storyboarding and creating one-of-a-kind visual effects, the much-awaited film will make its way to the big screen. Brahmastra has the real-life couple Alia and Ranbir sharing screen space for the first time. Touted as one of the most expensive films to date, the YRF film is apparently made on a budget of INR 410 crores.

The Bollywood heartthrob is playing the role of Shiva a boy with the power of Agni.  The actor left fans and critics in awe of his acting chops with the trailer release of the movie. Ranbir has apparently charged Rs 20 to Rs 30 crore for Ayan Mukerji’s adventure fantasy drama.

Alia Bhatt who will be seen as Isha in the film will play the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s lover on screen. This is the first time that the real life couple will share screen space together.  Reportedly the Raazi star has charged around Rs 10 to Rs 12 crore for Brahmastra.

Reportedly megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing the role of a Guru. He will be training Ranbir Kapoor to control his Agni Astra and how to use it in defence against the dark forces. Big B has charged Rs 8-10 crore for his role of Ranbir’s guiding force.

South super star Nagarjuna will be seen playing the role of Anish a Nandi Astra in the Ayan Mukerji film. He has reportedly charged Rs. 9 to Rs 11 crore for Ayan Mukerji’s directorial venture.

Mouni Roy plays the villain in Brahmastra. She is the antagonist named Junoon. As per reports, she has alleged charged Rs 3 crore for this film.

Shah Rukh Khan has a special appearance in the film. He essays the role of Vanarastra in Brahmastra. But there is no information regarding how much is being charged for the same.

The VFX for Brahmastra has been done by Prime Focus. This Indian company won an Academy Award for Dune’s visual effects at the 94th Academy Awards. Reportedly, almost Rs 50 to Rs 75 crore has been spent on the VFX and special effects of the film.

Actress Dimple Kapadia is apparently also said to be a part of the fantasy drama and she has  reportedly charged Rs 1-2 crore for the fantasy drama. But there is no confirmation of the same as yet.
