Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra is all set to hit the theatres on 9th September. The Ayan Mukerji directorial has taken almost four years to complete. After years of storyboarding and creating one-of-a-kind visual effects, the much-awaited film will make its way to the big screen. Brahmastra has the real-life couple Alia and Ranbir sharing screen space for the first time. Touted as one of the most expensive films to date, the YRF film is apparently made on a budget of INR 410 crores.

Shah Rukh Khan has a special appearance in the film. He essays the role of Vanarastra in Brahmastra. But there is no information regarding how much is being charged for the same.

The VFX for Brahmastra has been done by Prime Focus. This Indian company won an Academy Award for Dune’s visual effects at the 94th Academy Awards. Reportedly, almost Rs 50 to Rs 75 crore has been spent on the VFX and special effects of the film.
Actress Dimple Kapadia is apparently also said to be a part of the fantasy drama and she has reportedly charged Rs 1-2 crore for the fantasy drama. But there is no confirmation of the same as yet.
