Sonakshi Sinha’s first dramedy
We have seen Sonakshi Sinha in many massy entertainers, wherein she has done a few comedy scenes, but, for the first time we will get to see Sona in a proper dramedy (comedy+drama). The actress has impressed us a lot in the trailer, and if we go by the promos, we won’t be surprised if this film turns out to be her best performance till date.
YouTube sensation Kanan Gill’s Bollywood debut
We have loved Kanan Gill’s pretentious movie reviews on YouTube. And now, this cute looking guy is all set to make his Bollywood debut with ‘Noor’. We are sure that he will tickle our funny bone with his comedy in this film just like he does in his reviews.
Sunny Leone’s cameo
We won’t be wrong if we say that a film brightens up when Sunny Leone appears on screen. The actress has a cameo in this film. Sonakshi’s character, Noor, who is a journalist, will be seen interviewing Sunny in the movie. Isn’t this interesting?
Based on the interesting novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’
‘Noor’ is based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz's novel ‘Karachi, You're Killing Me!’. The book has received a lot of critical acclaim, and people who have read the novel have praised it to the core. So, it will be interesting to see how Sunhil Sippy has converted this book into a film.
The real struggle of a journalist
No job is easy and definitely not of a journalist! It’s no layman’s job to run behind a story, investigate and then present the reality to the audience. With Sonakshi essaying the role of a journalist in ‘Noor’ we will hopefully get to see the real struggle that a real-life journalist goes through. And unlike the other films based on the life of journalists, we are expecting this one to be more realistic and less glamorous.
After ‘Akira’, Sonakshi Sinha is back on the big screen with one more woman-centric film, ‘Noor’, which is all set to hit the screens on April 21, 2017. The film is directed by Sunhil Sippy, and the promos and the songs are looking quite refreshing and have grabbed the attention of the moviegoers.
