We are sure you all remember the scene where Chennai Express stops and Meenamma’s father comes to take her, and there she introduces Rahul to her father. In the background we see a beautiful waterfall. Well, that is Dudhsagar Falls. It is just 60 km away from Panaji. So, on your next visit to Goa don’t forget to visit Dudhsagar Falls.

Remember the Vidhamba village where Rahul and Meenamma stay for a few days after the former kidnaps the latter and takes with her? Well, the village’s set was erected near dam in Wai. Wasn’t it beautiful?
Devikulam Lake Munnar
There was a scene when Rahul and Meenamma’s car breaks down and they land up at a place near a dam. They also have a huge fight out there where the most famous dialogue of ‘Chennai Express’ was mouthed by Deepika, ‘Kahaan se kharidi aisi bokwas dictionary’. Well, the scene was shot near Devikulam Lake in Munnar.
Vattamalai Murugan Temple
So, remember when Shah Rukh Khan showed the power of a common man by climbing 300 stairs carrying Deepika in his arms? That temple was surely not in Vidhamba village. The scene was shot at Vattamalai Murugan Temple which is there in Kangayam - Dharapuram Rd.
