Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh first met at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau, in 2012. Post that, they were cast in Ram Leela and that is when sparks flew between the actors. After the release of Ram Leela on November 15, 2013, Ranveer and Deepika started dating.

While Deepika and Ranveer’s love story had begun the actors kept their relationship under wraps. But for how long can you hide love, from their appearances together at events and parties, fans began to pick up hints. On June 15, 2018, Deepika Padukone broke the internet when she officially announced her love for Ranveer. The Gully Boy actor had posted a picture of himself in an unbuttoned white shirt. Confirming her relationship, Deepika wrote in the comments, “Mine.”

Deepika had revealed in an interview as well that she got engaged to Ranveer back in 2014, but it was hush hush ceremony as no one other than their family knew about it.
