All of this started when the reports of Virat Kohli taking a break from his schedule this December made it to the headlines. Apparently, Virat applied for a break from T20 and ODI series happening in Sri Lanka these days and has asked to not be disturbed.

Following this, reports started making the rounds that he has taken a break for his marriage with Anushka Sharma.

The trip begins!

Later our shutterbugs spotted Anushka Sharma and her entire family at the airport. The Sharmas are off to Italy, where the alleged wedding is said to take place. Adding fuel to fire was the presence of the priest with the family.

The silence!

When the reporters at the airport asked Anushka's father and other family members about the alleged wedding, they all observed a complete silence and did not divulge any detail about their trip to Italy.

Why ‘priest’ though?

Baba Anant was also snapped at the airport with Anushka's family. When Bombay Times got in touch with the members of Baba Anant's ashram in Haridwar they said that he has flown to Europe for a wedding. Devasish Anant, the member of the ashram, was quoted saying, "Yes, Maharaj Anant Baba is not here, but I won't say anything else. I won't say yes, I won't say no."

The dream destination wedding!

If reports are to be believed then the wedding is apparently going to take place in Florence and Milan. The wedding and all the other ceremonies are said to take place on 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th December. It is going to be closed affair and not many are invited for the wedding.

Spokespersons go mum!

The spokesperson of both the stars too are observing a complete silence on this. Generally when such reports break out, the spokespersons do negate the story and call it just a rumour. But this time they are not even negating the story.

The ‘apparent’ reception!

So if the reports are actually true and if the wedding takes place, then a grand reception could take place in Mumbai. Apparently, the couple has arranged for a reception on 23rd of December in Mumbai. The entire cricket team at that time would be in Mumbai as the following day, there's a match taking place in Wankhede Stadium.

Not just the couple, in fact Virat's childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma too has taken a break citing a wedding ceremony that he has to attend. We wonder whether it is his best student Virat's wedding in Italy.

Further, the reports state that only Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh have been invited for Virat and Anushka's intimate wedding.
