Forget ‘Raaz’ and ‘Murder’ series, these films of Emraan Hashmi prove he is a talented actor

‘Kalyug’

‘Kalyug’ starred Kunal Kemmu in the lead role, but Emraan Hashmi played a pivotal role in the film. He had a few comedy scenes in the film, and the actor had nailed it. We don’t really recollect Emraan, when someone talks about ‘Kalyug’.

‘Tum Mile’

Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan-starrer ‘Tum Mile’ failed to make a mark at the box office. Well, Emraan is said to be an actor who is more for masses, but ‘Tum Mile’ was a classy film. A beautiful-romantic movie in which Emraan did a very good job.

‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’

Making a mark in front of an actor like Ajay Devgn is not an easy task, but Emraan played the role of Shoeb brilliantly. The actor was amazing in this film, but as it was a massy film, his acting talent was ignored.

‘Shanghai’

Emraan Hashmi is surely a very good looking man, but for ‘Shanghai’, the dashing actor opted to go de-glam. We had actually not imagined Emraan in this avatar. Apart from trying a new look, even his acting was praised a lot.

‘Ek Thi Daayan’

Emraan Hashmi has done horror films like the ‘Raaz’ franchise, but the only classy horror film which the actor did was ‘Ek Thi Daayan’. Emraan really impressed us with acting in this film. Unfortunately, as the film was a flop, the actor’s performance was ignored.

‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’

This is the best of Emraan Hashmi till date. A matured role performed wonderfully by the actor. Believe us, if not awards, the actor at least deserved Best Actor awards nomination. The way he had handled his character, we are sure every woman would have fallen for him. But, ‘HAK’ was a flop at the box office, and once again Emraan didn’t get his due appreciation as an actor.
