‘Paheli’
In 2005, Shah Rukh Khan portrayed a double role, that of a man and loving ghost in 'Paheli'. To do justice to his character of a rich businessman of Rajasthani descent, he got a strong moustache on his face which lent him the authentic look.
‘Chak De! India’
Then in 2007, he transformed himself into a women's hockey team couch named Kabir Khan and this time the moustache was replaced by a light stubble. He won accolades for his performance and his look was much loved by his fans.
‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’
Next year in 2008, he essayed the role of a next-door man, a mild and gentle government officer, Surinder Sahni. He had two looks in the film, one of a bespectacled man with an everyday moustache, and the other, a clean-shaven one. We loved both and the fact as to how he brought as much difference to the demeanour of both characters, as the look itself.
‘Dear Zindagi’
Next best beard experimentation by the actor was seen in Gauri Shinde's 'Dear Zindagi'. A nice strong beard with a slightly messy hairdo lent him a sexy aura and no wonder Alia Bhatt's character fell for this psychologist Jehangir Khan.
‘Raees’
Immediately after 'Dear Zindagi', SRK was seen in the crime drama 'Raees' which saw him in the role of a hard-core Robin Hood kind of don. This time again, the actor had another bearded look inspired from the 80s. Truly, he is one actor who can carry any kind of facial fuzz look with extreme ease.
Shah Rukh Khan has been ruling the hearts of millions of people since decades now. He gets into the skin of every character, and leaves no stone unturned.
