Vikrant Massey

Vikrant Massey is currently at the peak of his career with his blockbuster hit and critically acclaimed film. He has delivered great performances in films such as 12th Fail, The Sabarmati Report, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba and more. The actor has now announced his break from acting.

Shah Rukh Khan

The king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is known for his romantic roles and his contribution to film for the past 32 years. In his career span, the superstar took a nearly two-year break after Zero (2018) before making his grand comeback with Pathaan in 2023.

Imran Khan

After Katti Batti (2015), Imran Khan stepped away from Bollywood, leaving fans awaiting his comeback. He is the nephew of actor Aamir Khan. The actor made his debut with Abbas Tyrewala’s 2008 romantic comedy Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Netizens on social media demand his comeback and there are also reports of him returning to the screen with Break Ke Baad director Danish Aslam’s film alongside Bhumi Pednekar. It is stated to be a Netflix project.

Aamir Khan

The perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan announced a hiatus in 2022 to focus on personal life and family after delivering Laal Singh Chaddha. He is set to make a comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par, expected to be released in 2025. The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh in the lead role.

Rani Mukerji

Actress Rani Mukerji took a four-year break from acting after the birth of her child to focus on her family.  Her husband, Aditya Chopra, convinced her to return to acting, and she found a project that fit her schedule in the 2018 comedy-drama Hichki. Prior to this, she also took a break after Talaash was released in 2012 and was focused on her family before making a comeback with Mardaani in 2014.

Sushmita Sen

Actress and Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen took a break from acting after starring in the 2015 Bengali film Nirbaak. She returned to acting in 2020 with the Disney+ Hotstar series Aarya, a remake of the Dutch drama series Penoza. With its success, she has reprised her role in the second and third seasons of the well-acclaimed web series.

Raveena Tandon

Actress Raveena Tandon took a break from acting after she married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004. However, she was connected to the screen as she judged reality shows CEO’s Got Talent, Nach Baliye 9 and more. She returned to acting with the thriller film Maatr in 2017. She also received praise for her performance in the Netflix crime thriller series Aranyak in 2021. She also had a supporting role in the 2022 blockbuster K.G.F: Chapter 2. Raveena will be next seen in Anees Bazmee’s comedy film Welcome To The Jungle.  

Preity Zinta

Lastly, the bubbly actress of Bollywood Preity Zinta shifted her focus to her IPL team and personal ventures. She took a six-year-long break from movies from acting in 2018 after her last film Bhaiaji Superhit. Now, the actress is set to make a comeback with Lahore 1947.
