February is here, which means we will be getting a fresh bunch of binge-worthy movies. The audiences are also eagerly awaiting the return of their favourite stars to the silver screen. From Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Gehraiyaan to Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Here’s a list of some new Bollywood movies coming out in February 2022 that you can totally add to your binge-watch bucket list.

Bollywood movies releasing in February 2022:

1. Looop Lapeta

The film features Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles and it is the official Hindi remake of Tom Tykwer’s 1998 cult classic German film, Run Lola Run. A Sony Pictures Films India Feature, and Ellipsis Entertainment Production, directed by Aakash Bhatia. The story is about how Savi (Taapsee) is on a mission to save her boyfriend Satya (Tahir) and she has to collect Rs 50 lakh in 50 minutes to save her ‘useless’ boyfriend who gets entangled in the web of gambling.

2. Shabaash Mithu

The film based on the life of current Test and ODI captain of the India women’s national cricket team, Mithali Raj, stars Taapsee Pannu in titular role. It is based on Mithali’s life and the ups, downs and moments of glory, directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios.

3. Gehraiyaan

Gehraiyaan is a contemporary relationship drama by filmmaker Shakun Batra of Kapoor and Sons fame. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa. The story is about Alisha (Deepika), a woman, who has an affair with her cousin Tia’s (Pandey) fiance Zain, played by Chaturvedi. It also features Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor in supporting roles.

4. Badhaai Do

Badhaai Do stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar as a couple in a lavender marriage. It is about a lesbian physical education teacher Sumi (Pednekar), who gets into a marriage of convenience with Shardul Thakur (Rao.) It is a spiritual sequel to the National Award-winning 2018 hit Badhaai Ho! The film is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni and is produced by Junglee Pictures.

5. Love Hostel

Love Hostel is a crime-thriller film that features Sanya Malhotra, Vikrant Massey and Bobby Deol in lead roles. Directed by Shanker Raman and produced by Gauri Khan, Manish Mundra and Gaurav Verma under the banner Red Chillies Entertainment and Drishyam Films

6. Gangubai Kathiawadi

Gangubai Kathiawadi is adapted from one of the chapters of noted author Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It features Alia Bhatt in the role of Gangubai. Directed by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film also features Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Seema Bhargava Pahwa, Indira Tiwari and Varun Kapoor in supporting roles. Ajay Devgn, Huma Qureshi and Emraan Hashmi have special cameos.
