‘Go Goa Gone’

We were introduced to the world of zombies in Raj and DK's 'Go Goa Gone' which had an ensemble cast of Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das and Puja Gupta. The movie depicted the dark side of Goa as it dealt with drug rackets and its crazy consequences.

‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd’

Director Reema Kagti chose Goa as the destination for her movie 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd'. The film had many newly weds heading to the land of beaches for their honeymoon.

‘Finding Fanny’

'Finding Fanny' starring Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor in main roles is one of the rare films that actually demonstrated the life of Goans. It was shot in scenic locales of Socorro, Cortalim and Saligao and depicted Goa in its finest forms.

‘Dear Zindagi’

Gauri Shinde's 'Dear Zindagi' featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in main roles showed Alia's confused relationships and her therapy sessions with SRK unfold amidst the lanes of Goa. Lending it a fresh feel, Goa provided the perfect place for a refreshing and soothing plot of 'Dear Zindagi'.

‘Dum Maaro Dum’

'Dum Maaro Dum' ran in trouble for depicting Goa in a negative form but the movie did manage to depict the lighter and brighter side of the place too. From the vibrant shacks, the night markets to the night life, Goa shined throughout in this film.
