Performed kathak in a heavy 30 kg lehenga for the song sequence Kaahe chhed mohe. On which our beautiful Madhuri Dixit said "Imagine doing Kathak in a ghaghra weighing 30 kg! Even when I stopped dancing, my ghaghra wouldn't stop swirling. It was almost impossible to do the shot."
Sridevi in Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja
Sridevi had worn a golden costume weighing 25 kgs designed by Neeta Lulla for the song Dushman dil ka woh hai. Sridevi had to wear it continously for 15 days so the designers had to be mended every night because of the damaged caused due to vigorous dance routine.

Amitabh Bachchan's metal arm accessory originally weighed about more than 14 kilos. Big b would insist on wearing it in all the fight scenes in the movie as the body language changes with a lighter gear.

Anushka's grand entry on the stage, in a 35-kgs green sequin couture gown with flame like gold detailing designed by Niharika Bhasin Khan. Anushka apparently had to struggle a lot with the weight of the garment and needed some help getting around the sets. Although she did not have to dance in it, the outfit apparently took two-and-half hours to dress.

Talking about her heavy lehenga the actress shared, "So the lehenga was 17kg and then there was heavy jewellery. I looked like a beautiful bride but certainly didn’t feel like one. I had to walk up and down the stairs in that lehenga, it was very difficult. The clothes were heavy, everyone felt sorry for me.I had to walk on my toes and my calves were getting worked out.”

For creating Deepika's Rani Padmavati look it took around 600 days and 200 craftsmen. Reportedly a 30 kg lehenga and 400 kg gold was used for Deepika's Rani Padmini avatar in this film.
