Prabhas is the nephew of Telugu film industry's Rebel Star, Uppalapati Krishnam Raju.

He is a renowned South actor, but not many know that 'Baahubali' is not his first movie in Hindi, as the actor did a guest appearance in the 2014 movie 'Action Jackson'.

Prabhas does one film at a time. For the 'Baahubali' franchise, the actor shot for nearly 600 days and dedicated 5 long years for the mega project.

You would be shocked to discover that this humble actor who devoted five years to 'Baahubali' did not take any money from any other filmmaker at the time. He had no money that time and still did not take any money from anybody and even refused a meaty offer of Rs 10 crore for an endorsement as he wanted to focus completely on the movie.

Post the stupendous success of 'Baahubali 2', the actor has become the first South Indian actor to have a wax statue in Madame Tussauds, Bangkok. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli shared this amazing news by saying, “Very happy to announce that Madame Tussauds is making a wax statue of our PRABHAS… First South Indian to be honoured thus. The statue will be unveiled at Bangkok and subsequently will be toured all over the world.”
