Kashmir
Though Ranbir and team are shown flagging off to Manali for a trek, quite a few scenes of snow-clad mountains were shot in Kashmir. A controversy too had broken on the same when Omar Abdullah criticised the makers for not giving location credits to Kashmir.
Paris
Bunny aka Ranbir Kapoor is a camera person for a travel channel. So, in song ‘Ilahi’, Bunny’s journey of exploring the world has been captured. We see Rue Mouffetard market of Paris in quite a few scenes. We also see some iconic locations like Eiffel Tower and many others, in the song.
The Oberoi Udaivilas – Udaipur
After witnessing the astonishingly beautiful wedding of Kalki Koechlin in ‘Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani’, all the girls got their expectations high. Most of the wedding scenes were shot in The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur and we were left speechless!
Chittorgarh Fort
Remember the beautiful sunset scene which was shot from the top of a fort? Yes, that one is from Chittorgarh fort in Rajasthan. The makers of ‘YJHD’ managed to capture the historical fort in the most charismatic way possible.
Gangaur Ghat – Rajasthan
In the film we also get to see the vibrant Gangaur Ghat from Udaipur. It’s when Naina and Bunny go strolling around exploring the beautiful Rajasthan, that when we see the culturally high-spirited waterfront of Lake Pichola.
