Ranveer Singh and Kapil Dev
83 was released on December 24 last year and it was based on the first-ever World Cup victory in 1983 by the Indian cricket team. Ranveer Singh played the role of captain Kapil Dev. As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers paid around Rs 15 crore as a whole to the 1983 World Cup-winning team. Out of which Kapil Dev alone received a share of Rs 5 crore.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the former captain of the Indian national cricket team and we saw Sushant Singh Rajput portray his role in the cricketer's biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. As per reports, for his biopic, Dhoni was paid Rs 45 crores.
Priyanka Chopra and Mary Kom
Mary Kom is an Indian boxer and she is now also a Member of the Parliament, Rajya Sabha. We saw Priyanka Chopra play the role of Mary in her biopic. It was released in 2014 and was a blockbuster hit. Reportedly, Kom was paid Rs 25 Lakhs for her own biopic by the makers.
Irrfan Khan in Paan Singh Tomar
Legendary actor Irrfan Khan had played the role of Subedar Paan Singh Tomar in his biopic. Tomar was an Indian soldier, athlete and also what you call an outlaw. For the 2012 biopic, Tomar's nephew had received Rs 15 Lakhs reportedly.

Sachin Tendulkar is one of the legendary cricketers in India and his biopic was released on May 26, 2017. Reports say that the cricketer was paid Rs 40 crores for his biopic by the makers.
